Our range of anchor sets and brackets has been specifically chosen to be suitable for use in the harshest environments including decks built in coastal areas. Their specification takes into consideration the highly corrosive effect salt sea spray has on the essential structural elements required in the construction of elevated timber decking.
The corrosive effect of sea spray on structural metal elements has been found up to 50 miles inland and can halve the working life of components used in construction when consistently exposed.
The marine term relates to an A4, 316 high strength stainless steel, and applies to all metal components.
These products are also suitable for use inland when building decks which must meet the NHBC 60 long life specification.
